My Story

At the age of 16, Trent aspired to emulate his grandfather and began volunteering at Chackbay Volunteer Fire Department. Over 15 years, he progressed up the ranks to Assistant Fire Chief while providing a steadfast dedication to emergency medical services (EMS).

After graduation, he began his career as an EMT and provided patient care for a private ambulance service. He also decided to take the first steps towards becoming an EMS instructor during this time.

For a brief period, Trent provided safety and medical services as the Safety/Medic and ERT Coordinator for McDermott International. He was responsible for overseeing their behavior-based safety program, OSHA reporting, helping injured employees return to work safely, creating emergency response plans and coordinating the ERT Command team.

As the lead program instructor of RIPs Safety, Trent oversees initial training while also creating and refining course materials to meet customer needs. He is committed to maintaining state-of-the-art standards across all programs and works closely with our Medical Director in developing protocols and procedures that adhere to the latest medical practices. With his help, we can ensure high quality service for customers no matter what their individual requirements may be!
